Do you know how often you are suppose to clean your beer kegerator? Some people go months without cleaning theirs, but not only are you suppose to clean your kegerator after each keg of beer, you are suppose to clean the beer lines after every party. And then you may want to flush the lines one more time with water, just to make sure no chemical taste remains in the lines.  

Don’t forget to clean the beer tap and faucet as well. Bacteria can build up in the beer tap and ruin your beer. Don’t neglect this important step to fresh tasting beer. The tap and faucet need to be cleaned as part of your regular cleaning maintenance as well. Place the tap and faucet in the bucket of beer cleaner and use a brush that should of came with the kit to thoroughly clean the pieces. Make sure to run the tap and faucet under running water, in order to sanitize them and get rid of any left over cleaning residue. You can also clean the rest of the inside of the kegerator as well. Again be sure not to use any abrasive cleaners. Any scratches are little holes with bacteria like to hibernate.

I love beer. When did you first start liking beer? It actually took me a long time to like the taste of beer though. I started off drinking all those girly drinks or shots in college. Then I started drinking beer, but really only because that was all the party had in their beer coolers. I remember it all started with the all American classic, Budweiser. Budweiser really is a great beer, it is American, and I love America and all of our freedoms. Especially the freedom to drink beer. I hope that freedom nor any of our freedoms ever get taken away from us. I think the prohibition was unbelievable and would dread the day, if it were to ever return. A Budweiser lager is just so smooth too, it goes down so nice an easy, which makes it a great beer for beginners to learn to love beer.

Okay, I had to throw this one in to the beer cooler talk too. Now I know this quote is not about beer, but I believe God wants us to enjoy beer as well. He wants us to enjoy it in moderation of course though. He warned about getting drunk over and over again. He is gave a Spirit of self-control and it is our choice to use it or not. There are many quotes about strong drinks and wine in the Bible. He wants us to be full of joy! After all, Jesus did turn water into wine, which was his first miracle too!

I can certainly understand if people do not drink beer, because of religious reasons. That is their choice and they should stick to it, if that is their desire. However, I believe my God made beer to make man’s hearts merry. Okay, I know we are not suppose to talk about politics or religion, ever, which I definitely do not agree with. I think it is extremely important to talk about such things, how else do you learn? However, I am not going to talk any further about religion because this is the Heers Beer Cooler blog, not a religious blog. So it is time to get back to the beer talk.

I find it hard to understand how some people just do not like the taste of beer. It just taste so good. Although, I do understand it takes a long time to get to the point of liking it, as I mentioned it did for me. How can you not love reaching for a cold one out of your beer beverage cooler? Popping the lid and taking that first sip on a hot summer day is just pure heavenly. After a long hard day at work, a beer is needed to take the edge off and make your muscles feel better. Beer was used in the old days for aches and pains too. It was used as a medicine to help people through their pain. Beer is also high in antioxidants and good for you health. The antioxidants may not be as high as red wine, but it is still good for you. Doctors have said that one alcoholic drink a day, any alcohol, is good for your heart. But you have to drink in moderation! One drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men is the doctor’s orders.

Enjoying a glass of beer with your dinner is just appropriate, especially when you are eating a nice steak or hamburger. Beer is great cooked in food and it is great drinking with your food. So if you are not for beer then have another taste. There are so many beers on the market that there is sure to be one that you will love. If you are just against beer, than we will have to agree to disagree. Beer has been in mankind’s hands for a long time throughout history. Our Founding Fathers loved beer and I believe that it was put here by God for us to enjoy. We should enjoy our lives, and enjoying a beer makes life even more enjoyable. May our freedom to drink beer live on forever! Now go and grab a beer out of your beer cooler!

I need a cooler full of beer for tailgating at football games. I have been blessed to be able to go to football games with my family. And we need a new cooler, because ours broke, which cooler do you think I should buy? There are so many options. You should see some of the coolers that people bring inside. Of course, some people bring in full bars with a blender for margaritas and everything! I also need a few new coolers for parties. 

Should I buy the beer beverage cooler with a built-in stereo inside it? I am not sure I really need this, but I want one! There is a difference between need and want. Sometimes you have to give into your desires. I earned it didn’t I? Yes, I think so anyways. Besides our stereo is a bit out dated. So why not upgrade the stereo and cooler in one swoop? These stereo coolers hold up to 20 beers, which I think is a pretty good amount. You can remove the speakers and there is a pocket on the outside for your MP3 player. Make sure to pack ice packs or leak proof bags with these ones though, because you don’t want the ice to leak through until the stereo. 

The Beer Cooler Scooter

Or how about the motorized beer cooler scooter that you ride around on? They look so much fun! How cool is that, no more lugging around a heavy cooler for you. I have seen people ride them around tailgating in the parking lots. Pretty cool and funny. You can actually sit down and drink and drive, haha. You can also reach into the cooler while you are riding around. The drink holder opens up and you can grab a beer. How cool is that!? The cooler can hold up to 24 cans too! The scooter goes up to 20 mph and can travel up to 15 miles, which is perfect for around a stadium. They are electric and can hold a person who is up to 300 lbs, which I find amazing! It would be fun to own one of these that is for sure, but I don’t travel around very much at the stadium, I stay stationary, so unfortunately I have to pass.

I don’t really need a regular cooler on wheels either, although they have some really nice ones nowadays. And a cooler on wheels makes it so much easier. I see some poor people struggling along carrying these huge coolers. One guy is on either end and they are trying to make it across the parking lot, slowly but surely. They definitely need to upgrade if they are going to be meeting tailgating friends faraway. No, I usually have friends come to me. Or I just stick with my family and the people I bring with me to the game. We have a big ice chest beer cooler, but it is broken. So I need to replace it. We also have a small round one with a little pour spout, which could use an update. We mix wine with soda for a nice wine spritzer. I love beer, but sometimes it can get a little too filling, so it is nice to trade off with a wine spritzer.

I also have to buy a beer cooler backpack, as I have mentioned before. I need it for camping, it is a must. Especially when hiking in Yosemite. Hiking in Yosemite takes all day long! And a nice beer that is actually cold would be great to drink on the lunch time break. Only one is all I need though, because I don’t want to be tipsy and loose my balance and fall off the mountain! No way, but I still want the bag because it will be nice to have cold food as well. Of course, I need a few of those new American beer can cooler refrigerators for my 4th of July parties! Those ones are just too cute. And of course, I need the golf bag beer cooler. If I have one, I just might go golfing more often. I really need to work on my swing as well.

Packing your beer beverage cooler for an tailgating event or party is pretty simple. Place the beer cans or bottles in first and do not just toss them in there. Lie them in one by one against the bottom of the cooler. Then pour the ice over the top of the beer and gently shake the ice until some ice falls down between the drinks. If the ice melts, don’t drain the water right away, because the water is still cold and it will still keep your beer cold. You only need to drain the water if it is going to cause a problem, if you are ready to leave, or when you are ready to refill the cooler with more ice.

Pack a cooler with beer and food for camping requires a few steps. Don’t buy your food until 24 hours before you leave. Refrigerate and freeze appropriate items and do not pack up the cooler, until right before you are ready to leave on your trip. Make sure you have two coolers, one for food and one for drinks. You may even want three depending on how much food and drinks you need. Figure out how much food and drinks you need for the trip. You do not want your food to get hot and no one likes warm beer so plan ahead. The drinks belong in a separate cooler, because the lid is opened more frequently, and you don’t want the food to be in there warming up with the drinks.

Pack that Cooler with Beer and Food Real Good

The order you pack the food into the cooler matters as well. If you are going to be staying someplace for a few days then pack the food you are going to eat last, first. Freeze your meat in order to keep it cold for days. Make sure to wrap up all of your food in separate air tight bags in order to avoid cross contamination. You can place a few frozen water bottles in with the food as well, this adds more coldness and you can drink the water later too.

Use ice packs, not ice when you are packing your cooler for a few days. Ice packs are often lighter than ice and will not tear your food bags or your soft cooler. You can also use blocks of ice as well, which will keep your food colder than ice packs. Place the blocks of ice on the bottom of the cooler, because they are heavier than ice packs. Remember to keep the cooler out of the sun an in the shade as well. 

Now you are ready to go camping with a cooler full of beer and food. This gets me in the mood to go camping, I am not a big camper in tents though, but I have been to Yosemite and it was awesome! I might have to pack up and go again. Or maybe I will stick with the motor home, I still need a cooler of beer to take in the motor home too though. Hopefully you have learned a few packing tips. I don’t know of too many places you can actually take a beer cooler inside. I know you can’t do it anywhere around me. There are a few NASCAR tracks you can actually still take the coolers full of beer right in to your seat. Of course, they only allow certain size small bags inside, but still that is amazing that they allow it. I am big football fan, but I am getting into NASCAR more and more. I love how much they love America, and the prayer in the beginning, and of course all the loud cars. I have been to one race and it was a blast! I don’t think a cooler with beer is allowed in concerts. And I don’t know of any football stadiums that allow them either. There are some that allow you to bring in food and water though, which is nice. I have been to an outside play where you were allowed to bring your own wine or beverage of choice, which was really fun. Where are some places that you have been allowed to bring in beer?

I understand places want to make a profit, but didn’t they make a profit back in the old days when you were allowed to bring in a beer beverage cooler? I know my parents use to talk about the days when they would bring large coolers with tons of beer and food right into football games. And you could still buy beer from the concession stands. I think the stadiums still made a profit from selling alcohol back then. Plus, they are making a huge profit on the expensive tickets, which get more and more expensive every year. I think they just wanted to make more money. I am all for making money, but I think they are going a bit too far on the prices. There comes a point when it is too expensive and they make no profit at all.

Beer Cooler Bans

Now, some people will try to sneak in a flask instead. And they can get their season tickets taken away if they get caught. And if the owners of the tickets give out the tickets to their friends and their friends try to sneak in a flask, then the owners still loose their season tickets, it doesn’t matter if the owners didn’t do it. So this discourages season ticket holders from giving away their tickets. So people are forced to get super drunk in the parking lot before they go inside, which is not good. Of course, not everybody gets super drunk. There are a lot of people that choose not to drink at all, because they don’t want to pay $10 for one beer inside, so they might as well abstain completely.

Banning a cooler with beer from inside the stadiums or concerts really does not help sales inside. I think they are loosing alcohol profits and that is one reason why they keep raising the beer price. Now, they may be banning coolers with beer because they want to keep people from getting too drunk, but as I mentioned before they are now drinking too much before the game to compensate. Plus, there will always be people who get too drunk, banning alcohol coolers from the game will not stop that. Again, I think it is because they just want to make more money and they are using the drunk issue as an excuse.

Now, I am not for getting drunk. As I have mentioned in a previous post, getting drunk is not good. Everybody should drink with self-control and not get drunk. However, there is nothing wrong with enjoying a couple drinks while watching a game. I just think that you should be able to bring in a few beers into an expensive event which you paid high prices for. The high prices at the event for a beer is unbelievable. I say go back to the old days where we had more freedoms in this great country. Heers to a beer cooler for ya!

I know I need a new cooler to take tailgating at football games, but I might want a cute custom beer cooler just for fun, a backpack one, and of course a beer keg!

They look way better than just a keg in a bucket from your old fraternities days, I can tell you that. So it is worth the investment, because think of how much money you are saving on beer overall. Plus, you can buy a cool looking beer dispenser that fits your style, such as your favorite football team.

A beer cooler bag or tote is perfect to carry with you while you are at big events, camping, fishing, golfing, or anywhere else you think of. In fact there is even a small golf bag beer cooler that fits in the shoe pocket of your golf bag! That way no one will even know you have beer! It hides away perfectly and can fit 9 beers inside! You fill up the soft cooler with ice packs or ice and you are ready to hit a hole in one! As you can tell with all of the exclamation marks, I really like this one. I don’t go golfing very much, but I like to golf and I am thinking I need to buy this for sure! I just need to find some more people who like to golf. I am not a big camper, I prefer the motor homing, which comes with a built-in fridge, but there are backpacks for those of you who like to rough it. I think I also want the backpack or the beer helmet hat that has a straw and you suck the beer around your head and into your mouth. You know you always see them in movies? Those are so funny.

You buy the whole kit, which comes with a CO2 tank, beer line jumper, air line jumper, a coil, and more. You place the CO2 and the jumpers inside the jockey box and then you don’t have to worry about pumping air into you keg anymore. It does everything for you, all you have to do is walk up to the beer dispenser, pull the handle and wait for cold beer to pour into your cup. This cooler is great for fraternity parties or any event. They look much more professional than just attaching the keg pump and no has to work for their beer.

A can beer cooler refrigerator can hold about 60 cans of beer. They are 17 ½ W by 32 H. Their tall slender look makes them very appealing. Plus, you can buy them in a variety of designs, such as the American flag, golf, sports teams, or several solid colors. And they do not require any ice, because you plug them in! They are nice and portable and you will never have to worry about the ice melting or worry about forgetting enough ice. The beer can cooler is made of plastic and steal with great insulation, and you can control the temperature with the thermostat. These cooler fridges are great to take to parties, but they can also be used as a commercial beer cooler. We might need a few of the American flag ones for our annual 4th of July parties! Of course, there are those other can cooler fridges that are much bigger holding 100 cans or more. These fridges look more like fridges with a glass door and a black sleek look. They come in all different square sizes, which makes your little bar at home look more classy.

Now I mentioned the jet engine beer cooler in my previous post, which I must talk about. When I was searching for the best beer cooler this popped up in my search and so I though you could buy one. While apparently no, some guy named Simon Jansen, from New Zealand made one in his shed! He made his own jet engine and then hooked it up to his Guinness. Wow, that is crazy! Something about when you burn the gas it takes all the surrounding heat with it, thus cooling down the beer from 11 C degrees down to 2 C in just 5 minutes. I am not big in science, but he has the whole experiment laid out on his blog. Amazing! He makes it very clear that his blog is only for entertainment purposes only and that no one should try attempting to make one. And if they do, then they do it at their own risk. So yeah, I am not recommending you go check out his blog with any building ideas in mind. It just sounds too scary. So if you do go because of what I said here, I will just have to quote what Simon said again.

So while I was searching for the best beer coolers I got to thinking about people talking around water coolers at the office. I know you wish it was around a beer one instead. Do you gossip around the water cooler at work? Gossiping is actually not a very nice thing to do. It is not good to say negative things about people. Even if it is not negative, it is not good to speculate, because that could cause problems down the road for that person. No one likes to be gossiped about, do you? So try not to gossip in the future. Only say good things. Look for the good in everybody or just try not to hang around that person. Don’t hang around bad people that get you down, because then they will make you negative. Or do you ask your friends and fellow co-workers about their lives and how they have been lately? I know you probably do the right thing. 

Am I going to actually talk about beer coolers on this blog yet? Yes, I am. I just get carried away sometimes. And I don’t like negativity. Plus, I really do wish the water in that cooler was beer, but that is why you have to choose a job where you can drink one while you work! Like work from home jobs! Although, you cannot drink more than one really, because then you will not be able to work very well. Do I have a beer in my hand while I type this though? No, but I should have one. I cannot believe I don’t. Well, truth be told I am on a diet right now. I don’t really want to start drinking again until I loose some weight, but that is what light beers are for right? Okay, let’s talk about beer for a bit. Yes, I love the pale ales, something that does not leave a bitter aftertaste in your mouth though. Beer is a good thing as long as you don’t get drunk though. Being drunk can lead one to make some unwise decisions. Anyway, I am in the market for a new beer beverage cooler to hold all of my great beer. Ours seems to always break when we are at football games! Which cooler do you think I should buy?
